Tamasic Food

 Hello everyone Greetings!! 

                                                 So early I have shared my thoughts on Rajasik food which was for meat lovers but on the same side Tamasic food which is also been categorized under meat. Though both the foods are different but meat is common in both.

                                                The word Tamasic is taken from a Sanskrit word namely Tamas. It refers to darkness and can be related to a person who is lazy and dissatisfied. People who are in the mood of ignorance,like food that are tasteless,not fresh, canned/tinned and starchy (Bhagavad Gita 17:10) . So it basical refers to the food which lost its original taste, food that can rotten very fast and also after eating that food we feels sleepy or lazy especially sweets. 

Hera are some Tamasic dishes you are familiar with. 

1) Chicken Tandoori. 

2) Onion potato fries. 

3) Hyderabadi Biriyani. 

4) Lentil Burger. 

5) Gulab Jamun.
