               Hello everyone, ever wonder there are how many types of food? No, I am not talking about simply desserts, main course, veg or non-veg etc. But here I am talking about the base of foods that is categorized into 3 types namely Satvik, Rajasik and Tamasik. So here I am sharing my views on Satvik food.                  So the word Satvik is refer from Sanskrit word Sattva which means purity. Lord Krishna says Satvik food is a food that promotes strength, health, happiness, joy, smooth and nutrition. People who is in the mode of goodness like to have such food (Bhagavad Gita 17:8) . According to a Shloka Satvik food increases the life span, immune system as well as physical strength. Such foods are mild, it has a long lasting effect on our body.
