Satvik Food
Hello everyone, ever wonder there are how many types of food? No, I am not talking about simply desserts, main course, veg or non-veg etc. But here I am talking about the base of foods that is categorized into 3 types namely Satvik, Rajasik and Tamasik. So here I am sharing my views on Satvik food.
So the word Satvik is refer from Sanskrit word Sattva which means purity. Lord Krishna says Satvik food is a food that promotes strength, health, happiness, joy, smooth and nutrition. People who is in the mode of goodness like to have such food (Bhagavad Gita 17:8) . According to a Shloka Satvik food increases the life span, immune system as well as physical strength. Such foods are mild, it has a long lasting effect on our body. It is good for our heart, stomach and overall body. Consuming such food can feel the essence of organic food.
Here are some Satvik dishes you should try.
1) Aloo Cha Phat Phatte.
2) Varicha Bhat.
3) Amti.
4) Upvasachi Batatyachi bhaji.
5) Banana Cutlet.
